AUSA Annaul Meeting 2015

AUSA Annual Meeting: October 11-14 2015, Washington DC, USA.

"We were exhibiting amongst the biggest names in defense contracting and emergency response companies. There were also many other businesses exhibiting that help make our country function on day to day operations."  says Johnathan Hawkins, Sales, NZ Pump Inc.

"We had many branches of USA military visit our booth. They were amazed at how one Ezi-action® Drumpump could have so many applications when used in the field. That it could be used by everyone from the US Army to US Marine Corp to the US Navy.  The Army Corp of Engineers were particularly impressed with how versatile Ezi-action® Drumpumps are, as they identified that they could use it for dispensing their oil drums without wastage as well as dispensing corrosive DEF, for their diesel operations and also for their cleaning chemical dispensing. They also identified with the benefits of it being a manual pump. Ezi-action® Drumpumps are hand operated, no power required. So they could see the benefit of getting the fluid out of the drums and barrels whereever the bulk containers are actually needed."

"We also had FEMA visit our stand and look at the Ezi-action® Drumpump, says Jim Maines, Vice President Sales.  "What happens during a natural disaster when all drinking water is disrupted in the area affected? Well, FEMA and other emergency response agencies come in and help by bringing supplies like food and water. By taking our FDA compliant Ezi-action® Drumpump and putting it in a 200 litre barrel or 1000 litre IBC of drinking water, it can be used to hygienically dispense the drinking water. This can help save lives."

AUSA Washington DC, USA runs annually and promotes commerce with the US government and US military. It is the largest land power exposition and professional deveopment forum in North America.

During 2015 NZ Pump Inc Attended the following USA Trade Shows:

Chemicals America: September 9-11 2015 Charleston, SC, USA.

This Agro and Specialty Chemical Show was a great opportunity for Johnathan to talk with major chemical companies and their top chemists to see what kind of issues they are having with transferring chemicals.

Johnathan commented, "An important topic I kept running into is safety and how important it is to make sure the transfer of chemicals happens with no risk of personal contact. Also I found that there were many companies showing their new styles of containers. Ezi-action® Drumpumps, which are made in the USA, will work well in these new styles."

The Process Expo: September 15-18 2015, Chicago IL, USA.

The Global Food Equipment & Technology Show features meat and dairy processing and this year included a beverage processing section. Many of our customers attend and Johnathan met with them and learnt about new processes happening in these industries.

Johnathan said " With major companies coming to this show to find new ways to get their facilities cleaner, faster the Ezi-action® Drum Pump kept coming up in conversations. It's features are really being appreciated by the end users when dispensing cleaning chemicals from bulk containers. Everyone was so positive about them."

Johnathan added, "Breweries like dairies need to move caustic cleaning chemicals to clean out processing tanks and the Ezi-action® Drum pumps are perfect both because of their safety and their reliability."

World Dairy Expo: September 21 to October 3 2015, Madison WI, USA,

"It is certainly no secret that Ezi-action® Drumpumps work well in the dairy industry. Many of our customers exhibit at this show and they kept telling me how great they are.  It has proven itself to them and they believe in the pump. I had a ranch manager from Kansas stop me and tell me that they love Ezi-action® Drumpumps and that it was the only hand pump they use on their ranch."

"Dairies are using them to not only pump the aggressive chemicals like peracetic acid and acid cleaners for washing out steel tanks, in order to keep mastitis down but they are being used for general cleaning chemicals too," added Jonathan.
